I am getting very excited and anxious for our big upcoming move to Italy. Naturally, the food is something I am very much looking forward to learning about and enjoying, and trying new recipes in our new home. In the meantime, I couldn’t resist grabbing this book, Everyday Italian by Giada De Laurentiis for $1 at the thrift store over the weekend to get me by until we get to have the real thing. Hopefully I’ll be so busy cooking and eating Italian meals that I won’t be as disheartened by the painfully slow progression of our moving process. There are several recipes I want to try, so it will probably take me more like 2 weeks to cook and eat all this good food!
