Corrections noted from the first printing of My Little Michigan Kitchen:
Pg. 129 In the intro: "The flavor and texture is key to making these pasties amazing."
Pg. 130 The recipe states that the yield is 18 large pasties, but the recipe instructions call for dividing the dough into 12 equal portions. Both quantities work well. I typically make anywhere from 12 to 18. Your yield may vary based on how thick you like to roll the dough as well.
Pg. 145 under the "For the Filling-" ingredients should read "¾ cup sugar"
Pg. 152 under the "For the Cake-" ingredients, 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda is missing from the list
Pg. 170 under "For the Filling-" ingredients: ½ cup granulated sugar is missing from the list
Pg. 181 "combine butter, cocoa..."
