I’ve got the perfect thing for you to make for yourself this weekend. The recipe for this Cinnamon Swirl Quick Bread is so incredibly easy and it tastes and smells incredible, similar to Amish Friendship Bread but so much quicker! It’s lick-your-fingers delicious. I am a complete sucker for baked goods containing buttermilk. It makes things so rich and succulent. If I didn’t know better, I would want to drink it.
Side note: I can’t tell you enough how much I love my new bread pan. It was made in the U.S.A., extremely affordable, it bakes things splendidly, and absolutely nothing sticks to it! (Literally nothing. I don’t grease it at all and the bread comes out clean every time. It’s actually quite remarkable.) Anyhow, that’s my overly-excited rant about my new pan. I baked one loaf of this cinnamon bread in my new pan, and one loaf in my usual ceramic loaf pan. My new pan baked the cinnamon bread more evenly and was done 18 minutes before the loaf in my ceramic bread pan. Hooray!
