Stir together the coffee grounds and water in a large bowl.
Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Line a fine mesh sieve with a coffee filter and set over a large, clean bowl.
Gradually pour the coffee through the filter set over the bowl.
Discard used coffee grounds(or use them in your garden!)
Enjoy cold brewed coffee right away over ice, or seal in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
Notes
Cold brew coffee is concentrated so that it does not taste watered-down when poured over ice. Feel free to dilute the coffee to your preferences with either water, milk, or creamer.
